Dimensional Lumber
Budget Home Supply offers a wide variety of commodity dimensional framing lumbers. Unlike most lumberyards in the area that might stock a standard and better Hem Fir or Douglas Fir/Larch for their 2x4 and 2x6 we stock a Machine Stress Rated (MSR) 1650 Spruce Pine Fir (SPF). The grading on our 2x4 & 2x6 allows for very little edge wein and smaller, tighter knots. Our 2x8, 2x10, and 2x12 are all stocked in a #2 and better Douglas Fir/Larch. All of our lumber is stored in a drive-through warehouse where it is kept dry and laid flat.
Our pressure-treated framing lumber is available in the same material you are probably accustomed to, but we also offer a Kiln Dried After Treatment (KDAT) lumber. Ask our sales associates about KDAT; they will gladly educate you on its features and benefits.
We also stock a full line of rough-sawn cedar. Most of our competitors will purchase their cedar based on the lowest price. Budget Home Supply will only accept cedar cut at one of our approved mill partners. This means you, the buyer, can expect a consistently beautiful product.
